Aaron Kimmel, Senior Pastor

Pastor Kimmel and his wife, Sunnie, grew up together in a Bible preaching church where they came to saving faith at an early age.  They both graduated from Bob Jones University and served on staff as representatives.  Pastor Kimmel graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible (2005) and a Master of Arts in Teaching Bible (2007). 

The Kimmels have been in full-time ministry since completing their education.  Prior to coming to First Baptist (Dec. 2023), Pastor Kimmel ministered as a Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, and Senior Pastor in 3 states. 

Pastor and Sunnie have been blessed with 6 children and are excited to see the Lord continue His work in Calvert County! 

Liz Herrera, Church Clerk

Liz has been the church clerk since 2022. A graduate of Pensacola Christian College and Liberty University, Liz did administrative work in the construction industry before becoming a stay-at-home homeschooling mom in 2014.

Heath Starkweather, Treasurer

Heath has been a faithful member of First Baptist for over twenty years and has served in a variety of capacities, from Sunday School Superintendent to deacon. As treasurer, Heath ensures that the assets of First Baptist are used in a way which glorifies our Savior.
